Plastic mats are used in passageways, horse boxes, wash stalls, solariums, paddocks at stables, merry-go-rounds and also on the inside walls of boxes. The main properties of the plastic mats and cubes are that they create an anti-slip and safe surface (eliminating horse slipping and protecting horse joints and tendons). The mats used inside the stall insulate them from the cold, make it easier to keep the stall clean and also reduce the amount of bedding needed, by up to 50-60%, which reduces costs.
