Treadmills for horses
To meet the needs of its customers, the manufacturer of the most reliable and robust horse carousels has extended its offer to include a treadmill. It is an excellent training device for horses, technologically advanced, fully safe and requiring little space for its operation. It can be used as a complementary element to the training of the sport horse in all disciplines. The treadmill is individually adjustable, which makes it possible to use for an individual training programme, according to the trainer's assumptions, e.g. by adjusting the angle of the treadmill. In this way, the animal not only moves on a horizontal plane, but the movement corresponding to an uphill approach can be simulated - which affects the involvement of other muscle parts, strengthening tendons and joints.
Automated programmes can be installed for ease of use. An individual training or therapeutic programme can easily be programmed with the horse's special needs in mind. This programme can easily be repeated or changed as required. A clear and easy-to-use panel shows indicators for speed, distance, incline and time remaining.
The treadmill can also help with movement analysis in case of medical problems such as slight lameness. It can also be used to analyse the form of sport horses or diagnose the heart or cardiovascular system.
